In addition to competitive salaries, OraSure Technologies offers a comprehensive package of benefit programs to meet the diverse needs of employees.  We regularly evaluate these programs to maintain the best overall package for our employees.  OraSure contributes an average of 80% of the cost of the premiums for the medical and dental plans.  The following benefit plans are available to regular full-time employees:

Healthcare
OraSure offers the choice between two medical PPO plans to fit personal needs.  Vision coverage is provided to employees who elect either medical plan.

Dental Care
This plan provides coverage for dental expenses for employees and their eligible dependents.  The PPO plan provides 100% coverage on preventive care, up to 80% on basic services, and up to 50% on major services.

Life Insurance and Short- and Long-term Disability
OraSure recognizes the importance of disability and life insurance benefits to our employees.  All employees receive company paid life insurance, as well as disability insurance.  Employees may purchase additional life insurance coverage.

Flexible Spending Accounts
FSA plans allow employees to set aside pre-tax monies for eligible medical and/or dependent care expenses.  FSA plans are a great way for employees to reduce their taxable income.

401k Retirement Savings Plan
In order to assist our employees with planning for retirement, OraSure offers a generous 401k plan to our employees.  We also provide company-matching contributions.
