Stephen R. Lee, Ph. D.

Stephen R. Lee, Ph.D. joined the Company in September 2005, as Executive Vice President and Chief Science Officer. He is an Executive Officer and member of the Executive Committee.

Dr. Lee brings more than 20 years of experience in the immunodiagnostic industry, primarily with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company. While at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Dr. Lee served as Vice President, Assay Research & Development, Executive Director, Worldwide Immunodiagnostic Product Development and Director, Infectious Disease Assay Development. Dr. Lee has had responsibility for, or direct involvement in, the development of over 40 major diagnostic assays, in such areas as infectious disease, cardiology, oncology and other conditions. In 1997, Dr. Lee was awarded The Johnson Medal, Johnson & Johnson's highest award for Research and Development. Prior to joining Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Dr. Lee worked as a scientist for both Wampole Labs and Immunicon Corporation.

Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from Cardiff University (UK) and his BSc. in Biochemistry from Sheffield University (UK).

Keith W. Kardos, Ph.D.

Keith W. Kardos, Ph.D.

Keith W. Kardos, Ph.D. joined the Company in January 1994, as Senior Scientist in the Research and Development Department. He has since been promoted several times and is currently Vice President, Research and Development for OraSure Technologies, Inc.

Dr. Kardos' current responsibilities include overseeing all phases of new product development from initial feasibility to product launch. He is also responsible for managing technical support for existing products.

Dr. Kardos has had direct involvement in the development of 15 products in the areas of drugs of abuse, infectious disease and insurance risk assessment. He has been awarded four U.S. patents and has two pending applications.

Dr. Kardos received a B.S. in Chemistry from Moravian College and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Lehigh University.

Graham Yearwood, Ph.D.

Director, Materials and Process

Graham Yearwood, Ph.D.

Graham Yearwood, Ph.D. joined OraSure Technologies, Inc. in January 2007 as Director, Materials and Process Development.

Dr. Yearwood's primary responsibility is in technology transfer of new products into full scale GMP manufacture. In addition, he is responsible for the development of novel biochemical reagents for new products and optimization of manufacturing processes.

Dr. Yearwood is a 17 year veteran in the immunodiagnostic industry. He previously worked at Amerlite Diagnostics and Kodak Clinical Diagnostics in the UK and most recently at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (a J & J Company) in Rochester NY. He has extensive experience in leading teams in the development and transfer of reagents, conjugates and formulations, as part of the commercialization of numerous in vitro diagnostic tests.

Dr. Yearwood received his Ph.D. in chemistry from City University London.
