Schering-Plough Corporation, a worldwide leader in the discovery and development of novel HCV therapies, and OraSure Technologies are currently collaborating on the development and promotion of the OraQuick® HCV test, a rapid point-of-care test for the detection of the Hepatitis C virus in oral fluid, fingerstick blood, venous whole blood, plasma and serum. Roche Diagnostics
Roche Diagnostics and OraSure Technologies are currently collaborating on the development and commercialization of homogeneous fully-automated oral fluid drugs of abuse assays that can run on random access chemistry analyzers. The oral fluid assays are being developed for use with OraSure's Intercept® Oral Specimen Collection Device and Roche's KIMS (kinetic interaction of microparticles in solution) technology.
